SUSTAINABLE TEXTILE PRODUCTS
Felt characteristics
Organic felt is our flagship product. In order to create it, we combine layers of several natural fibers of animal and vegetable origin. Unlike synthetics, natural fibers have evolved into materials that resist changes in temperature and have a great molding capacity. These properties make from felt an intelligent, highly resistant and versatile organic textile.

How is organic felt made?
Felt is a nonwoven sustainable textile that intertwines different kinds of fibers. At KUN, this process starts with high quality raw materials. Thanks to the hard work of skilled artisans and laboratory analysis, we classify every vegetable and animal fiber to make sure we obtain the best quality possible. After a careful cleansing, we combine fibers into different felt fabrics through a mechanical process that requires moisture, pressure, and friction.
Organic Felt Fabrics
The different fiber combinations that we apply to our products enable us to offer a wide spectrum of felt fabrics, ranging from ultra fine and silky (100% alpaca) to thick and rigid (50% alpaca, 50% sheep wool, cabuya core). This is why our felt fabrics can adapt to a number of productive scenarios such as the manufacture of clothing and accessories, decoration and crafting, as well as packaging design.
